Enhanced PCCF
The Enhanced Postal Code Conversion File (ePCCF) provides a link between the postal code and standard census geographic areas, as well as a latitude/longitude point for each postal code. By linking postal codes to a census dissemination area, ePCCF allows marketers to easily append consumers’ locations, demographic data and PRIZM segments for mapping and analysis. The unique ePCCF file contains more than 896,000 postal code points. To ensure accuracy, enhancements were made to the latest Rural Enhanced PCCF through the manual checking of locations, correcting known errors and improving the geocoding of rural postal codes.
